This Month's Recipe

Chebe Cherry Turnovers

Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1 can cherry pie filling
1 package of Chebe Mix (Original, All-Purpose, or Cinnamon Roll-Up)

Directions
1) Make the dough according to package directions, replacing the cheese with ½ C sugar, and making about 10 dough balls instead of 20.

2) Place each dough ball on a sheet of waxed paper. Flatten it out modestly with hands. Place a second sheet of waxed paper on top of this and roll each piece flat using a rolling pin.

3) Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the middle of the dough. Fold the dough over the filling and crimp the edges well.

4) Place in a 375 F. oven for about 20 - 25 minutes or until the edges are browned.
