New Chebe Recipes |
Garlic Naan (Indian Flat Bread)
This recipe comes to us from “Cams Mom” in the Gluten-Free Forum
Ingredients:
1 package of Original, Garlic-Onion, or All Purpose Chebe Bread Mix
2 eggs
2 tablespoons oil
1-2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1/3 Cup of plain yogurt
1-4 cloves of garlic
Directions:
Blend first five ingredients into soft dough. Split it into 4 pieces, roll them out into pretty thin ovals, then put them on a non
greased cookie sheet. Mash up as much garlic as you like then sprinkle it on top of each dough. Drizzle a little olive oil on top
and rub it around the top with your fingers. Place in 375F oven for around 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Fried Apple Pie
By Malinda Frye I am a southern cook I really missed these being a Celiac. Thank you for Chebe , I enjoy the product very much!
1) Prepare 1 package Chebe All-Purpose mix according to package directions. Divide into 8 balls rolled out thinly.
2) Cook dried apples, adding sugar and apple pie spice, until smooth in texture or use gluten-free apple pie filling.
3) Put a spoonful of apple filling in middle of dough, fold over, and crimp edges with fork.
4) Fry in vegetable oil until browned on both sides.
